How many times have you been told that roses just
don't perform well in Queensland? Members of the
Queensland Rose Society have heard this often, but
keep proving that you really can do it with a little
good advice.
If you have
roses, would like to grow roses, would like to show
them off, or just attend some shows to look at
beautiful displays, then you are definitely in the
right place.
The Queensland
Rose Society is made up of volunteer members who
service the Queensland community in providing
information and support for growing this beautiful
flower.
On this website
you will find plenty of information about Queensland
Rose Society activities. Check out the "Calendar" tab on the
left
to see what is happening
in
2013.
Membership
entitles you to additional benefits such as a
quarterly newsletter with up-to-date growing
information and the Australian Rose Annual, a 150
page book on rose growing in Australia, and the
ability to compete with your roses at regular
events, among other things.
The Society meets at Church Hall, 459 Annerley
Road, Annerley Junction, Brisbane at 7 p.m. on
the second Wednesday of February, March, April,
